Central Election Commission held its consequent meeting, chaired by President of CEC Valdete Daka. Central Election Commission, with all pro votes, approved the Memorandum of Understanding that will be signed between CEC and Office of EU in Kosovo

Central Election Commission held its consequent meeting, chaired by President of CEC Valdete Daka.

Central Election Commission, with all pro votes, approved the Memorandum of Understanding that will be signed between CEC and Office of EU in Kosovo for observation of Early Elections for Assembly of Republic of Kosovo, that will take place 11th of June. This Memorandum will be signed in a few days. President Daka, informed that there are going to be 100 observers from European Union that will observe election process in Kosovo. Members of CEC emphasized the importance of the process of observation of elections, which would help the integrity and increase the reliability in the electoral process.

In this meeting, Chief Executive Officer of CEC Secretariat informed regarding the activities that are taking place within the scope of preparations for Early Kosovo Assembly Elections, that will take place on 11th of June 2017. Halimi informed CEC that currently the process of drafting the voters list is being conducted which is based in the extract of Central Civil Registry.

In the continuation of the meeting, Central Election Commission approved the Security Plan for Assembly of Republic of Kosovo.

Also, CEC approved the appointment of Municipal Election Commissions in 38 municipalities of Kosovo.
