Information from CEC meeting

Central Election Commission held its consequent meeting chaired by President Valdate Daka.

In the continuity of the meeting, a report from Count and Results Center was presented after the Election Panel on Appeals and Complaints had decided on recount of some the ballot boxes.

According to this report, after the recount, there is a re-ranking of the list of candidates for deputies. The changes are displayed in 3 cases, as follows:

·  Candidate Naser Osmani from Democratic League of Kosovo- New Kosova Alliance wins the mandate after the recount (before recount: 7 thousand and 265 votes – after recount: 7 thousand and 350 votes) in place of Imet Rrahmani (before recount: 7 thousand and 275 votes after recount: 7 thousand and 272 votes).

·  Candidate Fikrim Damka from Turkish Democratic Party of Kosovo wins the mandate after the recount (before recount: 2 thousand and 905 votes – after recount: 2 thousand and 980 votes) in place of Mahir Yagcilar (before recount: 2 thousand and 929 votes – after recount: 2 thousand and 928 votes).

·  And, candidate Slavko Simiq from G.I. Srpska Lista wins the mandate after recount (before recount: 12 thousand and 051 votes – after recount: 12 thousand and 603 votes) in place of  Branimir Stojanoviq (before recount: 12 thousand and 245 votes – after recount: 12 thousand and 464 votes).

At the end of the meeting, President Daka said that the Central Election Commission is awaiting the Supreme Court's decisions on appeals made in this institution to proceed further with the certification of final results.
